Elisabeth Oger, Transdev’s Customer Group Director recently shared Transdev’s approach to rebuilding trust in public transport among commuters post COVID-19 with more than 300 transport industry professional across Australia and New Zealand.
The presentation was part of a UITPANZ webinar Customer Experience and Commuter Confidence: Rebuilding Trust in our Networks which also featured Susan Kelso, Chief Customer Experience Officer at the Victorian Department of Transport.
Elisabeth identified three key elements that were vital in helping Transdev rebuild trust in public transport networks;
- Our global reach and ability to share expertise and experience across locations and adapt to local contexts
- Our close collaboration with stakeholders including public transport authorities, unions and internal teams, and
- Using reassuring and positive customer communication across multiple communication channels
The webinar also discussed how Transdev is using the voice of the customer to inform our #BackOnTrack strategy which aims to offer an exceptional customer experience and build confidence among customers to return to public transport post COVID-19.
The webinar also discussed case studies from Victoria, France and the Netherlands.
