The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is one of the biggest comedy festivals across the globe and this year, the festival celebrates a milestone birthday – its 30th year of operation!
To mark the occasion, Australia’s favourite comedians will grace the city’s many stages throughout the month, along with much loved International stars and emerging acts.
Transdev Melbourne (TDM) is once again inviting comedy festival attendees to catch the bus and enjoy a stress-free night out on the town.
TDM city services depart frequently and are a short walk or tram ride to venues such as the famous Spiegeltent, State Library of Victoria, Melbourne Town Hall, plus many more.
The Comedy Festival runs from 23 March to 17 April and tickets are now on sale.
Heidelberg resident and comedy festival enthusiast, Robert Lord said “The Comedy Festival is my favourite event in Melbourne – I’ve already bought tickets to three shows.”
“I catch the bus whenever I travel to the city so I don’t have to worry about parking or driving through traffic… it’s too easy!”
Most TDM city services operate late on weekdays and weekends, providing a practical alternative to driving.
